# How do I add an image?

To add an image, first make sure the cursor is placed in the document where you would like to add your image. Next, select the photo icon from the toolbar and select the image you wish to add (we recommend **jpeg** or **png** file formats).

The image will automatically be added and you can resize your image based on your preferences.

Select `This is a caption` and replace text with your real caption.
