# Are LaTeX packages algorithmic and algorithm2e supported?

**Unfortunately not.** While `algorithmic` and `algorithm2e` are partly supported by LaTeXML, they do not work in Authorea. Please consider using code listings (`\usepackage{listings}`) in your macros.
